My awesome tip for today
I learned this from a forum I visit, and thought I would share it with all of you who read my blog.
Its called cake in a jar.
1 package box cake mix of your choosing
4 pint size mason jars
cooking spray
-wash (some people boil) the mason jars and let dry.
-preheat oven according to box.
-make cake mix according to recipe on box.
-spray the inside of mason jars with cooking spray.
-fill mason jars no more than halfway.
-bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
-take one jar out at a time put lid then ring on tight while still hot.
-you will hear a ping sound as the jars cool. If no ping then after jar cools push down on center of lid it should not give at all. This means that it has sealed.
*send a can of frosting with the cake they can frost their own.
This is great to send to the sand box. I sent some to my husband, and he really enjoyed it. It made enough so that he could share it with some of his buddies. I've even make bread in a jar and sent it.

This is a really good idea too!! I'll have to remember it "just in case" too.
