This morning when I was talking to Rob on Yahoo IM, he must have been looking at my page, because he said "it is so true what you have on your page." In March, we will be celebrating our 6th anniversary, and I have always felt like he was my soul mate.
But then I was talking to a few friends, and they stated they didn't believe in soul mates. I have to admit I was kind of shocked, but then I just wondered if its like a fairy tale? I mean is there really people out there that don't think someone in this world is their perfect match? I personally think that there is that one special person we are meant to be with, but then I stop an think, I have seen to many movies? I really don't think I have.
On a different note, I made reservations for our weekend getaway. My neighbors have graciously offered to keep the boys for a weekend while Rob is home, so we can have our alone time. I am so thrilled. I did a lot of homework for romantic getaways in the area, and I think I found a really good one. I really can't go into to much detail on here, because Rob likes to read my blog, and I'm trying so hard to surprise him.
In my own head, I am pretending this is our honeymoon as well, since we didn't get one we got married. Nothing wrong with a honeymoon almost 6 years into the marriage, right? LOL

Amie, one question about your Cake in a Jar. How do you pack the jars so they arrive in one piece? I'd like to send this cake to my adopted soldier. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Hey Bonnie, I normally just wrap them in bubble wrap, and make sure they don't have room to move around. I also have stuffed other stuff in the box to make sure nothing moves as well.
