This and That....

Today was a fairly good day. Got up early, not by choice though. But the plus side to getting up at the crack of dawn, I got my chores done before noon. The boys and I went downtown to a produce market to get some more zucchini. I am going to shred it and freeze it that way I can make zucchini bread over the winter months.

After we got home, I started dinner. I tried a new recipe tonight, and oh my gosh was it good and simple! Just took boneless, skinless chicken breasts and put them in a pan, put quartered red potatoes around it, then 1/2 cup of Italian dressing, 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning, and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, then cover and bake for an hour.... So simple and tasty! I plan on making it for Rob when he comes home for R&R.

Speaking of Rob, today is the 146th day I've gone without my him. On a positive side though, I got an email from him last night, he gave me his tentative dates for R&R, a little over a month to go, and I will have my husband in my arms I am beyond excited! This deployment has made me realize just how much I take for granted, including him. I'm working on bettering myself, and our relationship. Its weird, but this deployment has made us stronger, not only as individuals, but as a couple as well. I truly believe after this deployment, we can do anything!

I was going through some pictures and I think this one is one of my favorites.

All three of my boys are just to darn handsome!
