Where the heck did all my free time go?

It seems as though lately I have been extremely busy. Don't get me wrong, I like being busy, and having stuff to do, but at the same time, I think back to just 2 months ago, and I was bored out of my mind. Between cub scouts, and FRG stuff, it seems as though my life as now become busy busy busy.

The boys and I went to Michael's today to get some craft stuff to make homemade Christmas ornaments. Its one of Jonathon's projects to do for scouts, but I decided to make it a family event. We got some really cute emblem's to decorate them with, so after we get them done, I will post pictures for everyone to see what we came up with.

Speaking of pictures, when Rob was home a few weeks ago, we went and had family pictures done. So I will share them with all of you, hope you enjoy. I'm off to figure out what the boys are into, they are being awfully quiet.

Hi Amie ... I saw your blog link on the Strykernews 4/2 thread. I normally don't post comments on blogs, but after reading your post about saying goodbye at the airport I felt compelled to leave you a message.

Our soldiers do a tough job and deserve more respect than ever. Army Wives/Moms deserve the same, holding down the Fort while your spouse is deployed to a war zone ... Well, you all deserve an award. Sounds like you're staying busy, hope this deployment goes by quickly for you and your stress level is tolerable. As I read about you and your boys saying goodbye at the airport, it brought tears to my eyes. "Army" good-byes are tough, had many of them myself.

My 3/2 son came home in September, but I still check in on the Stryker Site often. I want to show support to those with deployed loved ones ... Paying it forward, so to speak. I met so many wonderful and supportive people who I still communicate with today.

Take care of yourself and your boys!
